Christian Humbert-Droz
Master silkscreener Christian Humbert-Droz (Drozophile) prints incredible silkscreened books, prints and posters. He's had exhibitions all over Europe and with them he's held silkscreen workshops.
Drozophile
In the studio, the paint fumes are so strong I was worried I'd pass out. The smell must have stuck to my clothes for hours afterwards because long after we left the studio, various people asked me if I had just come from Drozophile.
Drozophile
Drozophile
In addition to silkscreen books, Christian has just started to print off-set books. His first book, Le Peuple du Bout du Monde by Oscar Baillif, is a series of paintings and commentary from Baillif's time spent in a hospital for the terminally ill.

Tom Tirabosco poster Walking though Geneva, I saw many posters and was delighted to see that most were drawn by local comic book artists. Here's one by Tom Tirabosco. Also exciting was that most of these posters, including this one, were silk-screened by Christian Humbert-Droz. |
